Festival Lighting Design Tests with Capture Argo.

New Tools are showing up in with their insanely performance to contest the ones that have always been there, this time its a tool from the fine Swedish Company Capture, the tool is called Capture Argo, that has just been release in Version 21.0 for Windows and the Mac, (WOOOOW!! ).
The Team at Schindler Lichtdesign is currently having performance test about speed in Live rendering together with quality and representations of the lighting.
So far the tool is very promising, in the pictures you can see a stage with 300 Fixtures, almost 150 of them are moveable fixtures.
The Stage Model clocks in at almost 2.5 million polygons, not counting audience Models and Fixture models by itself.
In the very near future you will see more about also the other things in the show business like CITP Video Streaming directly into the tool or movable scenery objects.
Impressingly the machine still renders a steady 31 frames per second. So far we are stunned, lets see how the other lamp types will be performing, big shows with a lot of bee eye preprogramming and pixel mappings will be coming up in the rest of the year, so we will definitely make our tests here and you’ll read about the outcome.
